Description
This specialty pharmaceutical company experienced growth of nearly 20% last year, continuing a trend of sustainable profits the international arena. They have always sought to develop and market high quality, innovative products for the benefit of both patients and physicians, not only to treat life-threatening conditions but, importantly, to improve the quality of life for patients with a range of acute and chronic illnesses. They have a long standing tradition of building quality relationships with patients, physicians, employees, partners and other key stakeholders. Success is measured by sales and profits, but is consolidated by investment in the business and nowhere more importantly than in the recent implementation of JDE Enterprise across global operations. Against this background they now wish to appoint an IT Director to complete and enhance the commercial advantages anticipated. Primary objectives will include:
- Build strong business relationships with all other functional and operational heads
- Provide leadership in the transition towards a holistic global entity
- Drive effectiveness and efficiency in all business processes
- Champion a standards and metrics based organisation
You will be a high calibre graduate who can demonstrate clear evidence of driving change and improvement by challenging an international pharmaceutical business. Your excellent communications skills will be complemented by strong technical awareness and business acumen. It is essential that you have a range of successfully delivered complex global projects in your portfolio.
