Description
Our intentional client is looking for mechanically orientated engineers who are familiar with running bench and engine test programs to evaluate performance characteristics of fuels or lubricants in automotive engines .You would form part of the crankcase lubricants additive development team and work towards the development of in house testing facilities and programs to support the team.
In addition to leading the development and improvement of testing and screening programs, you would also be part of the automotive OEM liaison activities in Europe. This would help secure approvals for, and participate in Industry bodies charged with establishing test regimes to substantiate lubricant performance. This is a highly interactive role requiring consideration of the chemical, physical, and mechanical influences, in an engine environment, on the crankcase lubricant formulation options.
In addition to providing engineering and operational expertise you will need to communicate effectively to internal and external bodies, and project manage large scale trials.. You will be the critical link between the chemical and physical product creation activities and their practical application in an automotive engine environment.
