Description
Our client is a successful engineering consultancy, employing over 7000 staff globally and with an annual turnover in excess of £400 million. With a considerable increase in the environmental acoustics business within the midlands there is a requirement for a Senior Acoustic Consultant to become a key individual within the regional office. Working on an increasing number of flagship projects, both throughout the region and internationally, the overall objective is to ensure that our client continues to develop as a leading acoustics practice in the midlands.
Key responsibilities will be to work on both independent and multidisciplinary assignments, ensuring full delivery of projects - predominantly environmental acoustics, incorporating design and project management and, in some cases, where engineers and consultants are involved in large scale environmental and development schemes.
This position is partly a supporting role in partnership with the office principal and partly a senior level project manager/director. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to take on a wider role in environmental acoustics work throughout Europe.
