The council is seeking an experienced, highly intelligent and accomplished individual to lead a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of highly experienced, talented individuals. The post-holder will manage the team in undertaking a wide range of strategy development projects, working collaboratively with key stake-holders to develop robust strategies for the planning and commissioning of housing and community care services.
Managerial experience and an understanding of adult social care issues is essential, as is a thorough awareness of current and emerging policy agendas and legislation. Strong analytical ability, communication and influencing skills will also be key to the post-holder's success.
