Description
This award-winning local authority is a flag-ship for development delivery and planning good practice in the UK. Their Strategic and Community Planning department is recognised for being innovative, proactive and results driven and is led by one of the industry's key speakers in the field, a recognised authority in Planning and Development.
As Major Development Planning Manager you will have primary responsibility for the effective delivery of the key Strategic Development sites in the district and will help share the very formation of these important new population centres. With managerial seniority and influence, yet unencumbered by line-management responsibility, you will enjoy an uninterrupted focus on the delivery of the strategic sites within the district, mobilising and coordinating staff and external resources to this end.
You will be a qualified planner with considerable experience within a local Planning Authority in development control on major development proposals and a proactive, innovative approach to delivery.
